In June 2011, a huge “E-Coli crisis” caused havoc in Europe. The result was consumer confidence hitting a low and EU citizens deciding not to buy as many vegetables as they had in the past. The EU created an initiative at very short notice that was aimed at encouraging consumers to buy vegetables again. Metro and its international network of mass media titles offered the perfect platform. The Metro Network worked with the EU to design an advertorial that would highlight the EU’s message in a bright and appealing way.

 

The EU delivered the text and Metro International’s experienced designers put together the advertorial. The project was completed and published in 11 Metro markets across Europe within a very short space of time, thus allowing the EU to ensure their message was to market in the quickest and most effective possible way.
