CAMPAIGN STRATEGY

The Jamaica Tourism Board set up the world’s largest stress ball in Times Square and needed a partner to help create buzz and excitement around the promotion. Metro became involved as a result of their 360° capabilities (i.e. newspaper, online and out of home) available via Metro New York.

 

The additional reach of the promotion incorporated a 4 page cover wrap, in-paper display advertising, direct e-mail promotion to Club Metro members and scripted and branded promoters in Times Square during the morning rush hour commute. The post-campaign results were a 423% increase in Facebook daily impressions and a 1,264% increase in Facebook engagement.

 

As an added bonus, a world record  was also achieved by this campaign on the day  - the biggest stress ball ever.
