CAMPAIGN STRATEGY

 

Visit Florida Tourism Board positioned a bright pink tuc-tuc within London's busiest station, Waterloo. This was done the day after "Blue Monday" (what we in the UK call the most depressing day of the year) to share a little sunshine with our fellow Londoners.  Metro UK became involved as a part of their 360° campaign (i.e. newspaper, online, out of home and on-street activity).

 

On the gloomy and cold January morning, a Kennedy Space Centre astronaut popped up by the bright pink tuc-tuc and invited commuters to pose for selfies. Branded promotors were giving out oranges with a "Family Traveller Guide" about the sunny Florida region to passers-by. Additional reach was provided by a 4-page cover wrap appearing on that morning's Metro UK paper.
