Metro Belgium

The first national and free newspaper in Belgium, Metro, was launched in October 2000.

The newspaper is published by Mass Transit Media NV, a joint venture between Concentra (Gazet, The Importance of Limburg) and Rossel & Cie (Le Soir). There are two editions of Metro Belgium, a Dutch and a French edition, distributed across the country. For easy recognition the Dutch edition has a blue logo and the French edition has a green logo. The average circulation of Metro Belgium is 230,000 and the readership is 806, 900.
